This is the pizza of my youth! Lol. We came here all the time as teens, and it is still the same. Love it. Delicious NY style Pizza, hot and fresh, that's nothing better! I haven't sat down inside in over 20 yrs, so I can't comment on service or atmosphere. But grabbing a whole pie or 2 to go is great.
The place of this pizzeria seems quite small when you enter., but when you enter you see another room with chairs and tables. I love pizza and it is one of my delights during a date night with my husband. This pizza has a variety of good quality ingredients. We ate Florio's Special, which includes: pepperoni, sausage, peppers & onions, mushrooms, black olives and extra cheese. The quantity of the ingredients was exact and it even seemed that the ingredients were placed in a very specific way to obtain an explosion of flavors in the mouth. The pizza was thin in the center and gradually thicker towards the edges.
This is not a fancy place--and I'm fine that. I only order pizza here....and after being at 20-30 pizza places, this is one of the better places to get pizza in San Antonio (if it's your jam). We asked for our pizza to be well-done--it came out in perfection...thank you for listening!! Keep it going Florio's--see you soon!

Seriously so good! I just moved into the area and decided to try this place after going to hanzo's next door. I got 2 slices of pizza and my roommate got a small pizza. As someone who's lived in New York the pizza's tasted pretty authentic and comparable to what I'd find in New York. The small pizza according to my roommate was pretty good but had a little bit of a thicker crust. I'll definitely be coming back here again!
Great lunch place. Fast & friendly. Clean as well. The lunch special is a must!!! If you have a Firefighter badge share it with them for there wall.
Florios will always my absolute favorite pizza! Perfect flavors, thin, foldable pizza with the right amount of greasy goodness! I tell everyone who mentions pizza about this place! I have been coming here for more than 15 years! It stays consistently wonderful! Family owned, passing down the secrets, and staying delicious! Small inside but plenty of space typically! Order at counter and go back for refills. I believe family is from New Jersey. Try it, worth the drive!! I promise!
This is def a NY style pizza. We got the Florios Special it was loaded with toppings. The crust was thin and crispy. This is def a great place that serves pizza by the slice of whole pie. I would check this place out. It's a small pizza joint...straight out of the classics. 80's and 90's era. Go check it out.
Even after 15 years Florios is still my favorite pizza! Every h time I come to SA I have to order Florios! My favorite is the pepperoni! Enjoy!!
